Our Story
We met each other in Atlanta, Georgia in 2006 while we were both on staff at the International House of Prayer - Atlanta. We eventually became friends and as we got to know each other better, we realized that we were both going in the same direction in life and we decided that it would be way more fun to walk together than to go it alone. We were engaged in October 2007 and were married on April 12, 2008 in Rockwell, North Carolina. It's been a rough ride sometimes since getting married was really a step of faith for both of us. We were friends and we believed that God has set us aside for each other to marry, but we were not the typical "starry-eyed lovers" that you see on most wedding days. But we have grown to love each other very much and we are committed partners for life. Michael is the love of my life and I enjoy every day that I get to spend with him! He is a wonderful husband and father!
